This peer exchange one day conference is specific to Energy Educators, WX Auditors/Inspectors and Program Coordinators involved in the income qualified Energy Assistance and Weatherization programs in the State of Oregon. Primary focus will be on current trends and best practices for programs participating in federal, state and utility supported funding for improved energy efficiency and energy conservation. Presentations and sessions will be led by participants from the Oregon Training Institute, OHCS, BPA and OECA members.

When; June 13, 2019 – Conference begins at 10:00 am to 4:30 pm. Catered lunch included.

Where; Roth’s Fresh Market Conference Center, 1130 Wallace Rd NW, Salem, Oregon 97304. Free parking for attendees.

General Session 10:00 to 10:15 ~ Welcome, introductions and the day’s logistics 10:15 to 10:45 ~ Guest speaker from Bonneville Power Association

Breakout Sessions Energy Educator Session 10:45 to 12:00 ~Three or four agencies present their program’s objectives, delivery approaches, successes and future plans.

Auditor and Inspector Session 10:45 to 12:00 ~Three or four agencies present their program’s audit/inspection process, productivity improvements and future plans.

12:00 to 1:00 Catered Lunch

General Session 1:00 to 1:45 OTI presentations ~ Training plans, certification update, and discussion. ~ Customer engagement presentation

1:45 to 2:00 Planned Break

Breakout Sessions Energy Educator Session 2:00 to 3:15 ~ Agencies present their client education kits; when delivered, contents of kit, purchase price of items, why items were selected, most popular items and why, lessons for future, and client literature used.

Auditor and Inspector Session 2:00 to 3:15 ~ New audit tools/equipment being used by some agencies. ~ Presentation on WX specification proposed changes, discussion, and the process for submittal for approval. ~ REM’s new version rollout and key new features.

General Session 3:15 to 3:30 ~ Closing remarks. 3:30 to 4:30 ~ Refreshments and networking opportunities. 4:30 to ? ~ Save travels home.

Attendance Policy
All portions of training MUST be attended and late arrivals are not allowed, nor accommodated. Missed portions of trainings are subject to make-up time at participant's expense. Petitions to this policy must be submitted in writing and are considered on a case-by-case basis. OECA reserves the right to ensure a safe and positive training environment and therefore may exclude or dismiss anyone who chooses not to follow staff directives.
Cancellation Policy
Rights Reserved The Oregon Energy Coordinators Association (OECA) reserves the right to make changes to programs, agendas, and logistics of any event, conference, training or workshop. OECA also reserves the right to cancel any event, conference, training or workshop. Registrants will receive a full refund upon such cancellations.

Refunds Full refunds, minus fees, will be granted for cancellations made 21 calendar days prior to the event, conference, training or workshop. Cancellations received after this deadline will not be refunded. All cancellations made with less than 21 days' notice are subject to a $100.00 administrative fee or 25% cancellation fee, which ever is smaller.

Liability Liability is limited to refunds of registration fees only.

Transferability Registrations may be transferable from one participant to another within an organization. Transfer of a registration payment from one event to another is not allowed.

Exceptions Circumstances beyond control of individuals will be evaluated on a case by case basis. Special requests must be submitted in writing and sent to the OECA at training@WarmandSafeNow.com.
