About the event
The HEP Energy Auditor field exam preparatory course is structured around the National Renewable Energy Laboratory/U.S. Department of Energy Job Task Analysis (JTA) with the same title. It is a four-hour session that reviews the duties and job description outlined in the JTA to help students prepare for the field exam.
During the course, students will practice the necessary skills to excel as Energy Auditors. These skills involve conducting precise energy audits of buildings, gathering data for comprehensive energy consumption reports, creating detailed work orders for recommended energy conservation measures, understanding specifications and standards, performing building and safety diagnostics, documenting and reporting findings, as well as effectively communicating with clients.
The main goal of this course is to equip eligible students to take the Home Energy Professional Energy Auditor certification field exam. Cutting-edge technology is integrated into the field to offer students a top-notch learning experience.
