OTI Instructor

Position Title: OTI Instructor
Program: Oregon Training Institute (OTI)
Reports To: OTI Training Manager
FLSA Position Status: Full-Time, Salaried, Exempt

Compensation: Starting $65,000/year, DOE

Anticipated Start: April 1st, 2026; Depending on candidate availability

General Description

This position supports the delivery of hands-on and technical training related to residential energy efficiency, energy conservation programs, weatherization and diagnostic HVAC technologies for the Oregon Training Institute (OTI), a program of Community Action Partnership of Oregon (CAPO). The Instructor works closely with the Lead Instructor and Training Manager and delivers training under the direction of the Training Manager, supporting high-quality training experience aligned with industry standards and workforce development goals.

The Instructor plays a key role in providing instructional delivery across classroom, virtual, and field-based settings, including individual and group training, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, and computer-based learning. This position also contributes to the effective implementation of training programs, certifications, and learning tools that support skill development across the network. In-state travel may be required to support training delivery and program activities across multiple regions.
