Residential Energy Analyst Training Series
Weatherization Retrofit Installer Training: Stick Built Homes
Designed specifically for all new WAP employees and contractors , our IREC-accredited REA Stick-Built Home course provides students with comprehensive information on weatherization measures and installation techniques for stick-built homes.
Weatherization Retrofit Installer Training: Manufactured Homes
Designed for all new WAP employees and contractors, our IREC-accredited REA Installer Manufactured Home course provides students with comprehensive information on weatherization measures for manufactured homes.
Diagnostic Technician
Designed for auditors and technicians who may perform inspections or make safety and efficiency repairs, this hands-on course will prepare participants to inspect Stick Built and Manufactured homes using diagnostic tools to assess issues.
Energy Analyst
This course is designed for the comprehensive evaluation and documentation of a performance-based energy audit specifically of the building shell, assessment of the efficiency and safety of the mechanical systems, and to establish the most cost-effective weatherization strategy using skills learned in the course.

Introduction to REM
Designed for new WAP employees who need to model energy use and savings, our Introduction to REM course provides in-depth knowledge and practical skills essential for entering and calculating cooling, heating, hot water, lighting and appliance energy loads as well as consumption and costs for single-family homes.
Home Energy Professional: Quality Control Inspector
Students will learn and practice the skills needed to become a successful QCI. These skills include: conducting a precise inspection of the building, verifying the work performed against the work plan, observing the retrofit work, understanding specifications and standards, and performing building and safety diagnostics among others.
Oregon Annual REM Training
Designed for weatherization professionals, , this 4-hour course will highlight updates to the Single-Family Audit Protocol and REM Technical Policies. Participants will learn how to use OHCS tools and apply them in REM among many other skills.

Oregon Weatherization Assistance Program Health & Safety
Designed for those entering the weatherization field and visiting homes, our 2-day online Health and Safety/Mold and Moisture training covers problems that affect occupant health and provides guidelines to keep employees safe in client homes. This course is an excellent precursor to the Healthy Homes Evaluator (HHE) course.
Healthy Homes Evaluator Training
This advanced training is a comprehensive, interactive and hands-on course that provides the the eight healthy housing principles and how to apply these important concepts when assessing and characterizing health and safety risks in homes.
HEP EA Written & Field Prep
Designed for participants who are prepared to challenge the BPI Energy Auditor Exam, this 2-day course will entail a review of exam-specific information, the types of questions commonly included in the exam and provide participants with the opportunity to take a practice exam.
