Healthy Homes Evaluator Training - Salem

This 4-day, in-person class introduces the   participant to the Healthy Homes principles. You will learn how the home   environment can contribute to accidents and poor health outcomes for the   inhabitants. The goal is to improve   overall occupant health and safety.

Students will have the opportunity to take a   BPI exam on Friday, November 22, 2024 with a separate registration.

This 4-day class will emphasize the 8   Principles of a Healthy Home:

• Keep it Dry
• Keep it Clean
• Keep it Pest-Free
• Keep it Safe
• Keep it Contaminant-free
• Keep it Ventilated
• Keep   it Maintained
• Keep   it Energy-Efficient.

Students will   cover:

• Data Collection
• Knowledge of At-Risk Populations
• Analysis and Interpretation
• Recommendations and/or Scope of Work
• Communication and Client Education
• Personal Safety, Insurance and Liability
