Home Energy Professional (HEP) Energy Auditor - March 2024

Students in class will be offered this occupation-specific training, which is part of an overall curriculum aligned with the topics within the Home Energy Professional Energy Auditor Job Task Analysis, to provide additional and supplementary training in preparation to challenge their exams. These skills include but are not limited to: (1) conducting a precise energy audit of the building, (2) collecting the required data to create a comprehensive report on the energy consumption,  (3) create a detailed work order outlining the benefits and pay back of recommended energy conservation measures, (4) understanding specifications and standards, (5) performing building and safety diagnostics, and (6) recording/reporting findings and concerns and communicating effectively with the client.
