This is a private (invitation-only) class.
Students will experience hands-on training to become proficient with the correct procedures for combustion appliance safety testing. We will concentrate on the procedures needed to comply with daily test out procedures as required by the current US DOE State Plan and Oregon’s Low-Income WAP Field Guide & Standards.
What You'll Learn:
Review the hazards of Carbon Monoxide (CO) and the importance of combustion safety testing.
Help contractors understand personal CO monitors and ANSI/BPI 1200 action levels.
Understand what weatherization measures necessitate a “test out” procedures.
