REA Energy Analyst
This 5- day course will prepare participants to complete a comprehensive evaluation and documentation of a performance-based energy audit. This course specifically touches on the audit of a building shell, assessment of the efficiency and safety of the mechanical features. Participants will then learn how to apply the information gleaned for the audit to develop the most cost-effective weatherization strategy.

Training will be provided in the classroom using lecture, activities and discussion and in the laboratory using state-of-the-art diagnostic tools including blower door and duct blaster.
Prerequisites: None
Recommended Prerequisite: We highly recommend that the trainee complete the REA Installer Stick Built and REA Installer Manufactured Home prior to taking this course.
Physical Requirements: Sit and stand for long periods of time. Able to access and inspect attics and crawls spaces.
